Sidekitly

Privacy

Sidekitly is a set of free tools that run in your browser. This page says plainly what that means for your data.

What you type stays on your device

Anything you type into a Sidekitly tool stays in your browser. It is never sent to Sidekitly or to anyone else.

What you make with a tool is built on your device and downloaded or copied from there.

Anonymous usage counts

When you take an action in a tool, the page sends an anonymous message to api.sidekitly.com for each tracked action. It holds only the name of the action, for example "a QR code was downloaded". We add it to a count for that day.

The message has none of what you typed. Your IP address is used only as a short-lived rate-limit key (about a minute) to limit abuse, and is never written to our database or logs. We keep no identifier that could single you out. The counts tell us which tools are worth improving.

Cookies and storage

Sidekitly sets no cookies and loads no third-party tracking scripts.

If you switch between light and dark themes, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage. It is not a cookie, it never leaves your device, and you can clear it from your browser settings.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare may keep standard infrastructure logs for security and operation, handled under Cloudflare’s own privacy policy.
